This video is a time lapse consisting of 58 photos taken over the course of 29 minutes showing what happened during my first attempt to capture some star trails. I wasn't expecting anything great from a first try but I did plan on letting the camera run for at least an hour. Unfortunately, the clouds were rolling in as I was setting up and by the end of the half hour, they'd completely filled the night sky. However, I felt the movement of the clouds made for an interesting time lapse and I really like this ruined house as a location. Next time I try this, I'll have to hope for less clouds and I'll maybe go for a portrait composition so that I get more stars in the photo, including the north star.
