This video is part of a video training package on good fish handling, processing and cooking for fish operators and consumers.

These videos are to be used for awareness creation and for training purposes with an educational-entertainment and interactive approach of easier learning through fun. 
The videos trainings are supposed to be watched with the assistance of a facilitator who will accompany the interactive moments and stimulate discussion.

SmartFish Programme is a regional fisheries Programme managed by the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) and co-implemented by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The programme is funded by the European Union under the 10th European Development Fund.
 
SmartFish is helping create an increased level of social, economic and environmental development and deeper regional integration in the Eastern-Southern Africa and Indian Ocean Region (ESA-IO) through capacity building for sustainable fisheries. The programme is strengthening fisheries management; governance; monitoring, control and surveillance; trade; and food security.
 
This DVD is an output from the Clean Fish Better Life campaign that is designed to improve the regional supply of fish and fish products, through post-harvest loss reduction. The DVD will help fisheries operators improve the hygiene and quality of their products, reduce losses, and increase their profit and help consumers buy safe, healthy fish and fish products.
