Just what the title says. I found this little book while working at the bookstore I'm in, and I found it to be a nice little intro on a very misunderstood topic. Considering the amount of theists who constantly keep giving the wrong definitions for and have perceived notions of atheism, I figure they could use this book. It would clear up a lot of their misconceptions. It's also a good book for anyone who wants to know a little more about the stance that atheism has on many issues, and what an atheist actually believes and lives by. http://www.amazon.com/Atheism-Very-Short-Introduction-Introductions/dp/0192804243 Ignore the $10.16 price tag. click on the "new" and "used" links further down to get it cheaper: you can get a new one for around $5.28, and used for around $3.50. Christians who debate and argue against atheists may also want to pick up this one: Logic: A Very Short Introduction. http://www.amazon.com/Logic-Very-Short-Introduction-Introductions/dp/0192893203/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top I've read some reviews that say it's a bit of a tough one to get though, in the sense that there s a lot of info for a first timer to wade through in such a brief format. But most reviews for this book are positive, and to be honest, you guys REALLY need to understand the rules of logic before you get into debates.
