FDA has revoked registration of 33 fish traders after they failed to produce municipality trade license within stipulated time. Prudent Media had earlier exposed that fish traders have shown only ₹ 12 lakh are their annual turnover. Acting upon the Prudent’s expose FDA Director Jyoti Sardesai had issued notices to concern fish traders to correct the information provided to FDA. However, the traders could not furnish the corrected data within the time limit.
