Feb. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Susan Urahn, managing director for the Pew Center on the States, talks with Bloomberg's Matt Miller and Carol Massar about pension shortfalls facing U.S. states and steps they can take to prevent an "unmanageable" crisis.
U.S. states must contend with a more than $1 trillion gap between what they have saved and what they have promised to retired workers for pension and health-care benefits, the Pew Center said in a report today. (Source: Bloomberg)
