Loco: 16356 WDM-3A When 12040 NDLS-KGM New Delhi Kathgodam Shatabdi Express started operating,it use to operate from Anand Vihar Terminal and with ICF coaches,as seen here in this video taken in September 2014.Almost 45 mins late 14042 Dehradun-DEE Mussoorie Express was approaching Ghaziabad Jn station,New Delhi Kathgodam Shatabdi Express was exiting the Ghaziabad territory running around 15mins late.With effect from 11 December 2015, it has been operating from New Delhi railway station in order to make tourist travelling very feasible from airport,as there is direct connectivity between airport and New Delhi railway station by a dedicated metro service.Also the distance by road is more from Delhi airport to Anand Vihar Terminal as compared to New Delhi railway station.New Delhi Kathgodam Shatabdi Express belongs to Northern Railway & it was inaugurated on 19 March 2012.Kathgodam is the nearest rail-head to many tourist destinations in Uttarakhand like Nainital, Ranikhet etc.Earlier New Delhi Kathgodam Shatabdi Express was not a daily train but from 5 May 2016 it has operated with daily service,it got LHB rakes from 28 August 2015.Enjoy the shot in HD if one has fast & unlimited data internet Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ150
