58 women are amongst the 232 recruits who have joined the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary as probationary constables. These 232 men and women are the first batch of the 2017 intake. They were sworn during a pass out parade by Police Commissioner, Gari Baki at the Bomana Police College.
