music & lyrics: Björn Jakobsson recorded in June - August 2017 at Ealsden Digital Studio Skärholmen from the album "Old Dogs and New Tricks" (Treplektra TREPCD 75) Tuesday's on the bed in her messy room staring at the Ramones poster at the wall strumming her out of tuned school guitar If she had money on her cellphone she'd make a call to a guy she loves that does not seem to care OK, she wouldn't call, she wouldn't dare Instead she’s playing her old guitar and dreams about being a star Oh no, she isn't happy, not even close Oh no, she wipes a teardrop from the tip of her nose The tear was real and true not a teenager pose Tuesday's writing a real sad song a song filled with feelings and goodbye cruel world She feels forgotten and left alone She feels that nobody gives a turd She pours her soul out until she runs dry She needs to get it out, no point asking why She writes the best she could ever do and the created magic sticks like glue Oh no, All things in life, they are just wrong Oh no, and she hopes that it won't last too long It was a song about a hell and a hell of a song Six months later she's a superstar She's on tour with a band and her number one hit The audience joins when she starts to sing They sing about misery, that her life is shit She's in love with the bass player in her band Her old feelings she can't understand The only thing, this story wants to show in life and love, there's nothing you will know Oh yeah! But were there more joys under her hat? Don't know, but at the moment she's a happy cat It was a hell of a song let's leave it with that © 2012 Treplektra produktion
