When I first played the game (on Hero), I always wondered how Eggman could have guessed that the emerald might be a fake. And now I know (even though I found out several years ago).

Stage 13: Cosmic Wall
And now It's time for my favourite shooting stage Cosmic Wall! This, being the last of Dr. Robotnik's stages, is quite a grand finale! The ability to fly for short periods, and so much stuff to shoot at you'd be at it all day trying to shoot em all... what more could you ask for? :D
