UK lawmakers moved one step closer to allowing babies to be created from the DNA of three different people. The bill must be passed by the House of Lords before becoming law. If it passes, England will become the first country in the world to allow 3-parent IVF babies and embryos to be genetically modified. #mitochondrialdisease
