At the Cancer Center, we've developed a series of case review conferences for children at any phase of cancer treatment. These conferences bring a number of specialists together to discuss a patient's treatment options and progress, and are designed to make sure each child is getting the best possible care. Our care teams are multidisciplinary, made up of physicians, surgeons, nurses and psychosocial staff from a range of specialties. These teams are built to address the many ways cancer treatment effects the patient and family, both physically and emotionally.
