My son got an rc car for his birthday and the little wheel you turn right and left with on the controller broke off the first time we took it out.  With a pair of calipers and autodesk inventor I designed a new wheel, saved it as an stl file and sliced it with makerbot desktop.  It was printed on my CTC 3D printer @ .2mm layer height and 100% infill. Took about 1 - 1/2 hr and fit perfect!
