 At the start of September, it spoke about a SeaWorld researcher trying to save a young orca who sadly had become ill. Well since that story ran J50 the killer whale had sparked a lot of interest from everyone and J50’s story and the story of the dying pod of killer whales in Seattle's water grab headlines around the world. 

At one point NOAA had been laying out plans to capture the young orca and help get better if she became stranded or beached. Sadly though the team that is tracking the pod have officially declared J50 as dead. The orca hasn’t seen now for around two weeks and hasn’t appeared with her pod since. A team of researchers have been searching the waters to try and find her but have come up with nothing.
