This video begins with a very unusual train at North Bonneville Washington;  a local between Vancouver and Wishram.  I don't believe I have ever seen a train with a caboose that had this good of a view forward!  The brakeman in the caboose giving the 'thumbs up' made the shot all the better!

Across the Columbia River and about 40 miles away a westbound UP Z train rounds a corner at OT Junction.

At the west end of the Dodson siding, a westbound UP freight slams through the switch on its way to Portland.

Then at the west end of the Bridal Veil siding a U30C rumbles eastbound with a switcher in tow.  placing the camera up across the tracks, the camera is now set up looking east as an eastbound rolls past a grain train sitting 'in the hole'.   Just a few minutes later a fast double stack with a Santa Fe locomotive heads toward Portland.

Back up the river just east of The Dalles, the same train prior to the one with the Santa Fe engine is seen approaching Dune on the Oregon side of the river.

Turning the camera west, a BN freight is headed east to Wishram with a lot of empty wood chip cars.  The scene ends with a nice zoom up to Mt Hood on the western horizon.

Back at Bridal Veil, a westbound activates the remote camera that sends pictures back to the yard so they can verify the trains cars.  This was back in the early 90's, long before the RFID tags were placed on every piece of rolling stock.

Back across the river at the east portal of the North Bonneville Tunnel an empty eastbound grain train with some lost tank cars roars through the 700 foot long tunnel.  A surprise on the end was a caboose!

Finally, a odd sounding horn atop the eastbound Amtrak Empire Builder pops out of the tunnel at North Bonneville.
