I've found that sometimes there are situations where it's best to wait and be patient, to force your opponents hand instead of walking into a trap set up by them. While sometimes this works amazingly well and can throw them off guard, occasionally it's precisely what they were expecting and you'd of been better off throwing caution into the wind and rushing for the victory.
