A section of matatu operators are threatening to disregard a city hall directive banning all matatus from accessing the CBD area effective Monday. The ban is in line with a gazette notice published in May last year requiring PSVs to drop off passengers at designated termini along the citywide perimeter. Starehe MP, Charles Njagua and his Kikuyu counterpart, Kimani Ichungwa, have also called on the county admnistration to shelf the order saying that poor Kenyans would suffer.
