Boss Info: Quite possibly the creepiest Mario villain ever. Anyway, he may have lower stats than the previous boss, but that doesnt make him a pushover, far from it. In the first phase, grab his weird head-things and throw them into his face. (when the petals open) Its also possible to use them as platforms and jump on him, but be careful, touch them anywhere other than the top and youll take damage. When you see all three move to the centre of the screen, theyre about to do the thorn attack. Grab one quickly to stop it, or flip to 3D to avoid it. (this also shows that King Croacus is actually 3-dimensional) For the second phase, yes, there is a second phase, (it surprised me too) grab the pinwheels and, again, throw them at his face. It took me a while to figure out you could do this, as I havent played this game in a while. A pretty good end boss, if you ask me. Yes, I left the Pure Heart scene in this time, because this is the first one that actually relates to the boss itself. And yes, you actually killed King Croacus. This game is a lot darker than your average Mario game. Low Level Tips: -Really not too different, just try not to get hit too much. -Eliminating the pinwheels in the second phase earns you points. But if you abused those Floro-Cragnons beforehand, you should be fine.
