A busy time of year for Waynesville, with crowds packing into the downtown area and other venues to see the international celebration called Folkmoot U.S.A. The annual event kicked off Friday night and the fun continues through next Sunday. People from all around the world are here to share their cultures. The Ahuna family from Hawaii returns year after year to perform Pacific Island traditions. Also because they've made so many friends and love it. "We've been to the best festivals in the world, we've been to the Folkloriana, Summer Fest in Hungary, North Korea, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Germany and I have to say that Folkmoot is one of the best in the world that I've been to," says Joseph Ahuna. The events draws thousands of people every summer. You have to pay to get into the shows.
