In this briefing, Jef Verelst of Smals will be giving a talk about the Belgium Government’s journey to e-gov and to OpenShift. Jef has been helping to drive the Belgium Government’s transition from a traditional architecture to a PaaS solution and he participates in the setup of a Belgian government cloud. After his studies at the University of Antwerp (Computer Science & eBusiness), Jef started to work in the telecoms industry (mobile switching and network management). Five years ago, he joined Smals where he is active in social welfare and health care projects.
