The Philadelphia Zoo celebrated International Red Panda Day all weekend. On Saturday Mei Lin unknowingly amused a group of visitors by cleaning herself for almost ten minutes without looking up once. All the other visitors who were standing there at the time moved on, but I stayed ... Because I know, when you visit a zoo, you have to have lots of patience. And in this case, I was very glad I waited because I was the only one who saw her cute face pop up after she finished cleaning herself and before she stretched out for a long nap! (The visitors you hear in the background were talking about the red panda in the adjacent exhibit that was sleeping on a branch.)
