For my computer vision project, I created a Matlab program to detect the floor relative to a moving Sphero robot. I superimposed a virtual augmented reality coordinate axis and some blue dots to represent the floor. As you can see, it's a little "jumpy" but that can be fixed with some code to smooth out the floor detection algorithm.
