I discuss water filtration. Filtration is not purification. Filtration only helps remove small particles, sediment etc. more modern filters do help to remove harmful bacteria and pathogens but keep in mind modern filters only help to reduce the amount of dangerous parasites, bacteria, pathogens etc in your water. When using a filter you should always filter from the cleanest source you can find. this will help make your filter last a long time. The filter I have is a Katadyn Hiker.
