Once you edit you 360 VR video with your common video editor, Adobe Premier or Final Cut Pro, then you need to inject new metadata, because chances are that your regular compressor probably gets rid of it.

Here is how that goes on YouTube. You need a small tiny tool to re-inject the metadata into your video.
