Taking the Amtrak train to LA Union Station from San Jose Diridon station. The train came late (as usual) so it got darker than it should have by the time we reached Santa Barbara, but the sunset from the viewing car was pretty awesome. Boing Boing has a good writeup about this leg of the Coast Starlight journey. I have to disagree with the write about the food - it's bad & overpriced. That is my biggest complaint against this train. I shudder about traveling longer distance & getting stuck with this food.
