Published 11/13/16 I've been loc' d for 2 years and Dru for 1. I started his locs, while I was going to the salon every 4 weeks for maintenance. In an attempt to save our coins, we decided to start retwisting mine at home as well. Make sure you retwist on freshly shampooed or damp hair...never dry or that can cause thinning and breakage. You can use whatever gel you choose, but we use a mixture of sweet almond, jojoba, olive and tea tree oils. Be sure to moisturize and oil your locs weekly! Thanks for watching!
