I created two knight chess piece pins so far to give to Lock Noob as a congratulatory gift to his success in having Sparrows become interested enough to invest into an idea born from the locksport community, and introduce this creation to a larger hobby community. As if I couldn't have more respect and admiration for Sparrows influence and generosity within our community, they go and do something as cool as this.

This is such a huge honor for anyone in the locksport community to have a company such as Sparrows rise up and offer your creation to the world on a large scale commercial market. I really wanted to make these knight pieces just because no chess set is complete without the knights. I told Lock Noob yesterday or the day before that I had finalized my decision to create these pieces for him since Sparrows did this. I'm thrilled to have success in fulfilling my promise that I would make these pieces. I had no clue how I would do this, but I planned it all out in my head last night while trying to go to sleep.

The entire locksport community is such a fantastic group of people and I'm so proud and enthusiastic of being a part of it. I don't do anything I do for people in expectation of reward or reimbursement. Doing stuff like this just brings a little more joy into people's lives and I'm grateful that I am capable of bringing a little more pleasantness into the world. I feel extraordinarily blessed to have the talents I possess and the skills I've built to do random things like this for people.
