It was close to a year ago that I announced my round the world project, travelling to different countries searching and researching church history. 12 months and 24 countries brings us to our final trip for 2018. Here is some footage from my recent trip to the Philippines. I'm so thankful to Zondervan for their sponsorship of so many of these EPIC videos. Today they'd like you to know about some new books that may be of interest to you: the two-volume Legacy of Preaching set. It follows the great preachers of history in their context, as they approach their task of preaching. So volume one covers from the apostles to the Puritans and it profiles 30 preachers, including Origen of Alexandria, Augustine of Hippo, Martin Luther, John Wesley and more. Then volume two covers from the enlightenment to the present day, it profiles another 30 preachers like Charles Spurgeon, DL Moody, Martyn Lloyd-Jones and so on. They are available wherever good books are sold. https://amzn.to/2BzMtJF A Stephen McCaskell film.
