The largest snake I have ever owned! He is 6 1/2 feet long Grey/Gray Rat Snake! (Rat Snakes are close relatives of corn snakes, just on a much larger scale) He is a very friendly and placid snake except when it comes to feeding time he can have an aggressive feeding response. I once had the smell of a thawed rat on my hand and he decided to sink his teeth into my hand and costricted my arm until it went numb. He also eats eggs! If you are thinking of getting a big snake then a Python or Boa is not necessarily what you should get, look into one of these. I no longer own this snake due to not having the time for many exotic pets due to changes in my job but I do give him a thought from time to time, but he was sold to a very knowledgable person and I am sure he is doing ok
