In the September 22, 2010 Citizens Finance Advisory Committee in Oak Brook, Illinois the discussion of the sudden death of Hinsdale Deputy Fire Chief Mark Johnson sparks giggles about a committee members own mortality. This followed an earlier suggestion at the meeting that they fire one of Oak Brook's firefighters each month until concessions on budget and staffing are made. Firefighters and police were referred to as "street people" who only understand civilized force.
