Where there's a need, it never fails that a volunteer will fill it - at least in the community with a heart, Port Alberni. There is a need for volunteers to spend some time with acute care patients and keep their mind occupied, whether it be playing cards, painting, listening to music, or just holding a hand, these volunteers are more than appreciated.
