A quick test of the TAKSTAR SGC-598 powered shotgun mic. _________________________ Mic on Amazon: http://a.co/dWGAvI2 Quick breakdown of my thoughts compared to Rode Video Micro: Pros: Less Noise - Powered mics always have less hiss to them Good audio for the price Cons: Shock mount seems very weak at absorbing bumps and camera noise Line out is injection molded into mic body. Poor bass response compared to Rode Video Micro Bottom Line: Great mic for the price, but don't expect it to be as good as the premium mics out there! Much better than the camera onboard audio as well. Onboard audio always sucks. Thank you for the continued support! Be sure to like, comment, & subscribe for more tech related videos!
