On International Women's Day 2018, Perimeter Institute hosted its annual "Inspiring Future Women in Science" conference, where 200 high-school students attended talks and a "speed mentoring" session by women in diverse STEM careers. In her talk, Martha Lenio (Director of Engineering Services, Mars Green Consulting) explains how openness to both uncertainty and new opportunities fueled a journey that led her around the world – and may still lead her into space.
