How to make a Knife Making Swing Arm Jig to secure blade into drill press vise. One of the dangers or hazards in knife making is having the knife pull out of a vise when drilling handles holes. This easy DIY vise jig secures the blade down into the vise. Im sure other knife makers have a variety of way to securely clamp their blades during the drilling process. I make no claim that this method is better or more secure then others. Im just showing the simple clamping jig that I use to prevent this potential problem. This is a fairly easy knife making project.
