A little late to be uploading it but I my set-up has changed a little bit. I continued to use this set-up for the rest of the trip, using the tarp/space blanket instead of my sleeping pad. The side loops helped a lot, otherwise it would just slip out when I sat down in the hammock. Obviously too thin for cold weather but really nice for mosquito-ey warm weather. I then use my 20ºF Polar Pod sleeping bag as an overquilt and wear a long sleeve polyester shirt when I sleep. I use my fleece jacket as a pillow.
