New freight route boosts trade between China and the Netherlands

Trade ties between China and the Netherlands have enhanced in the two years since a faster freight train route was launched between the countries. The train connecting southwest China's Chengdu with Tilburg and Rotterdam in the Netherlands also goes through Kazakhstan and the Russian capital of Moscow, and can complete its route in 15 days. The line also has connections with major cities such as Shanghai, Wuhan and Shenzhen on its east end and the UK, Portugal, and Scandinavia in its western reach.
