I was messing around with warp codes out of boredom. Here I used the code that normally takes you to the Valley Maze room with the lake. But when you are in The Edge the code will take you to the map normally seen when the Landale is docking at the Air Castle. You can walk around the map but of course there's no way to enter the Air Castle from here. It's just a background image. Curiously you can't use an escapipe/hinas but you can use a telepipe/ryuka. I guess this map is designated as the overworld then. If you leave the warp code on then when you use a telepipe/ryuka with the code still turned on you will be transported to the Valley Maze lake map. But you will be very much out of bounds and won't be able to see your party. It will take a little bit of time but you will be able to find your way to the room. You'll need the walk through walls code turned on to get into the room's boundaries. The encounter rate outside the boundaries is insanely high too. So it's best to turn battles off. If you turned the warp code off before using the telepipe/ryuka you will be teleported to the town you selected as normal. If you select a different warp code then teleport out you will end up in various other places. Often out of bounds or stuck in walls. It would take a long time to test all the variables. Note that I was using BigNailCow's custom party hack here and this is an NA version of the game. I am not sure if having my ROM patched with this hack made a difference to how these codes function because I haven't tried it on an unpatched ROM. If for some weird reason you want to try this you will need access to the final dungeon. Enter The Edge and input PAR code FFEC29:4A0. Then walk around until you get into a battle. The battle BG will be from the Motavia overworld and the enemies are usually from there too. Although there are exceptions. If the screen goes white when a battle is triggered reload the savestate WITH THE CODE TURNED OFF and try again. I think the crash occurs because of an invalid enemy formation. This is very similar to what sometimes happens when you use walk through walls to trigger random battles on the glitchy mountain boundaries on Dezolis. After the battle you'll be taken to the Air Castle map that is used when the Landale docks there. Some of the other warp codes may work to land you here as well. But i kept getting white screens. A shame because i forgot to note the code that warps you here with the Landale take off music playing. Oh well... The code that is supposed to take you to the Air Castle starfield is FFEC29:1A0. But I could not get it to work anywhere save for The Edge. Everywhere else took me out of bounds in the Valley maze lake room. Valley Maze. It could be because of the patch. In an unpatched game you may want to try that code out instead. I haven't compared the two so I don't know if that's the issue or if it's the guide/savestate ect...
