Think carving pumpkins is fun? Why not try to chuck one as far as you can? Every October, folks with enormous air guns come to compete--sometimes throwing pumpkins over 2000 feet! This video is about a trebuchet--the only one at the competition. The video explains how it came to be. A very good 300-plus foot throw is shown at the end.
