Many of us casually use language and value traits that are often considered more “masculine.” This talk looks at how this masculinity shapes our society and considers the role that femininity might play in our future. Natalie Murphy is from Holland, Michigan and has been at SAS for the past three years as a high school English teacher. She loves hiking and being in nature, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. On the weekends, she and her husband, Jim, also love to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and cup of coffee. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
