Redfin, often referred to as redfin perch, English perch or simply just perch, are a very popular bread and buter fish species all around the world. My love for freshwater fishing stems back to when I was a kid fishing for redfin perch, or reddies as we use to call them. This is a compilation video that I put together for a recent presentation that I made at Trelleys Tackleworld in Shepparton. Some people here in Australia hate redfin perch with a passion due to their destructive potential on some native fish however most people love redfin oerch and hold them in high regard. In case you're wondering why people on the internet like me call them redfin perch, instead of just redfin, that is because all around the world people search for these fish with different names so the name redfin perch should make my video a little more search engine friendly.
