Likes Bear is a loveable Staffie Cross with a sweet, yet sensitive character. Once he knows you well, he'll enjoy your company and will like to show his affection by putting his paws up onto your lap for a gentle fuss. Bear loves his walks but can be quite strong on his lead - he'll need owners who are steady on their feet and who'll be keen to continue his on-going training. Type of home needed Bear cannot live with cats but could potentially live with another calm and steady dog if they were to get on well upon introductions. He could also share his home with teenagers over the age of 15 and would like visitors to his home to be of the same age. An enclosed garden where Bear can potter about and relax in, is essential. He can become a little overwhelmed when faced with things that look odd to him (such as people wearing hats) so he is hoping that over time, with some gentle guidance and positive-reward based training he can begin to build some confidence.
