Das Löschgruppenfahrzeug LF 16-TS der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Regenstauf, Landkreis Regensburg, ist mit Blaulicht in der Nähe des Gerätehuses unterwegs. Das LF ist seit angeblich 30 Jahren im Dienst (die LF 16-TS auf Iveco wurden vom Bund doch erst seit 1988 beschafft?), was aber nicht das Durchschnittsalter der Fahrzeuge der FF Regenstauf widerspiegelt - so hat die FF u.a. auch ein HLF à la Rosenbauer AT3. German fire truck responding: The old Engine from the Regenstauf VFD, Regensburg County, is heading towards the station. The Engine is sth between 25 and 30 years old and still runs very good - it's the oldest rig in their fleet: besides this Engine, the Regenstauf VFD has another Engine, a Rescue Engine (a 2013 Rosenbauer AT3), a Tanker, an Aerial Ladder, a Command Car (Audi Q5), a Hose Truck, a Logistics Truck and a Transporter. In the late 70s the fed gov started to purchase 2300 Engines, based on 5 different trucks, but all with the same characteristics: a front-mounted pump with a capacity of 2400l (634 gal)/min at 8 bar and a portable pump with a capacity of 1600l (422 gal)/min at 8 bar. This is one out of 636 Engines which are built on a Iveco 90-16 AW. In autumn 2009 the fed gov designed a new standard Engine, which is produced since 2010 and which are already delivered in hundreds.
