http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org When Ava Brockman was 11 months old and sick with a fever, her family couldn't figure out what was wrong. Her pediatrician wanted an X-ray to rule out pneumonia. It revealed something worse: a tumor between her heart and spinal cord. Surgeons at Cincinnati Children's removed the tumor, and Ava is doing just fine. The medical center and the Cincinnati Bengals celebrate her success. She is MVP of the 2011 Bengals vs. Steelers game.
