..Out of a divine creative inspirational moment this nation building soca/calypso/crossover song emerged. The convergence of three creative musical minds, in one space, provided fertile musical ground for this magical piece to blossom. Song writer Ronald Forde, producer/Writer Julian “Jueilo” Nelson and young soca sensation Don Kelon, brother of deceased soca star Blazer Dan, collaborated to offer the nation hope through the song “What we Need”. 

The quagmire in which we now find ourselves as a nation requires local musical interventions to speak to the healing of the land. Musical works that critique the situation and offer solutions to the madness, must emerge to restore sanity to the space we once called paradise.  

The youthful melodic structure of the music, coupled with the sobering lyrics and the soothing delivery style of Don Kelon, compels my people to internalize on the way forward for Trinidad and Tobago. You are invited to listen, enjoy and be a part of sharing love throughout the nation.
