The cryptocurrency market is having another bad day. Bitcoin fell below $6,500 today. This day last year Bitcoin was around $3,700. Ripple’ XRP is the biggest loser out of the top 30 today suffering losses of more than 17% over the past 24 hours. Last week we saw the price of XRP skyrocket. There was a lot of excitement about the upcoming launch of of the commercial version of Ripple’s payment platform xRapid. There doesn’t seem to be any major driving factor for today’s movement, except for profit taking. Now let’s see what else is happening in the crypto world. The Winklevoss twins are hitting headlines today. According to the Financial Times, Gemini, a New York-based cryptocurrency exchange owned by the Winklevoss Twins is thinking about expanding into the UK market.
