INCIDENT DETAILS:

A man driving down Euclid Ave. lost control of his vehicle, crashing into a retaining wall. The driver got out of the vehicle and started walking away from the accident. Arriving officers encountered the driver walking back towards the crash. The male was detained. The driver was not suspected of driving under the influence. The driver stated he had a passenger but fled because he had been drinking. National City Police is investigating.
