The Aston Martin Vantage, Mercedes-AMG GT S, Mercedes-AMG GT R, and Mercedes-AMG C63 S Coupe may all look staunchly different, but one thing binds them together: their engines. Each car has the same M177/M178 4.0-liter BiTurbo V8 handbuilt by Mercedes-AMG with outputs ranging from 503 (Vantage, GT S, and C63 S) to 577 (GT R). This comparison video will show us if the original AMG cars are better at using this engine or if the Vantage makes better use of it. Of course, an appropriate S1-900 battle is in order as well to see which car is truly best.
