For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a beautiful 1987 Porsche 928 S4. The odometer reads 98,761, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1987 Porsche 928 S4 include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Seats, Power Sunroof, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. The 5.0L V8 engine was rebuilt by 928 Motorsports and now features a Raptor Stage 1 Supercharger. A new water pump and timing belt were also installed at the time of rebuild approximately 4,000 miles ago. This aluminum V8 now produces 456 rear wheel horsepower with its new configuration. A 4-Speed automatic transmission and rear transaxle transfers those horses to the pavement. The original black exterior paint does show some age, but is in good condition, and shines up very well. The original black leather interior shows little signs of wear, which considering its age, is pretty remarkable. The gunmeta grayl Kenesis wheels provide a menacing look and a great stance to this 87' 928 S4. Drilled rotors have been employed to keep this supercharged, V8 mammoth in check and on the road. Porsche rolled out the 928 in the late 1970s as their first front engine, V8 grand touring car. Initially the 928 was intended to replace the 911 as the flagship model, but ultimately the two models sold side by side until the mid 1990s when the 928 was discontinued.
