Walking through the remains of the Graeco-Roman village of Tebtunis in Egypt's Fayum region, a low-lying depression south of Cairo and west of the Nile river valley. This footage was recorded on June 8, 2012. EDIT: Both my guides and myself were confused about what we were actually looking at. The information that I am repeating in the video is erroneous. The building shown here is not the temple, but a structure known as "the chapel" near the area where the temple originally stood. For the location of the chapel and the other buildings seen here please refer to the following map: http://www.ifao.egnet.net/uploads/images/sites/tebtynis/tebtynis-plan-hr.jpg
