26 January 2013, 1003hrs. Train: 11022 Tirunelveli|TEN - Dadar|DR Express. Locomotive: Katni|KTE|WCR WDM3A 16554R. Location: Near Kadur|DRU|SWR. Cameras: Canon EOS 550D, Canon PowerShot SX20 IS. My first catch of the 'Ex-Chalukya' Express after its extension to Tirunelveli/Puducherry yielded an offlink with some amazing honking. Seen here is 16554R from Katni thundering past at around 95kph, acknowledging our presence as it tackles one of the many curves in this scenic region. The train, surprisingly, was running barely 2-3 minutes late.
