A revised version of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2lG19cebZ0 - this time, with the entire intro sequence set to 23.976 FPS.

This credit-free intro sequence was put together using multiple sources. The shot with the rainbow is from the series' French-language intro sequence, while the first half otherwise is from the German intro sequence (which is textless during those shots). For the second half (00:44 onwards), I used a remastered, English-language DVD edition. This DVD version had credits, though, so I pasted in bits of video image from an official, Spanish intro with watermarks that I found online to cover the English text. All in all, a bit more complicated than I had anticipated... ;)

I also wanted to correct the syncing of the English theme song here, as it seems to be out of sync in official, English-language DVD editions; especially for the characters' solo singing in the first shots. The video is set to 23.976 FPS throughout, with my syncing based on this English-language television recording from BBC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nGrYEFG6Ho  BBC's original airing cut away a bit of the intro video at the end, so I've done the same for this upload.

Also for this upload, I modified the aspect ratio of the French rainbow shot slightly (squeezing it to what I believe are the original proportions, or at least closer to them); and cropped away some empty space around the German video.
